“I’ve really enjoyed Cathy’s teaching style in the James Hill ukulele units I have recently completed with her. The sessions are always well prepared and structured, I’m learning a lot of musical theory and practice that is enriching my playing and enjoyment of the instrument. I really like that my understanding of the structure and composition of pieces of music has grown during the course and that the songs we are learning are very appealing melodies that offer interesting challenges but are aligned to our ability. Cathy is a very patient teacher and really knows how to bring out the best in her students through her inspiring musicality and her dedication to ensuring we are well supported.”

3. Chord Transition Course for new players

“I loved the course! Your instruction was very clear. The practical aspects of playing were the most challenging for me and I’ve learned a lot and will continue to use the materials after the course has finished. The class atmosphere was always encouraging. It was inspiring to see the more experienced players. So pleased to have had the opportunity to do this from home.

"I want to tell the world how great your classes are, how much we enjoy learning with you and each other, what a gift it is, especially in these times of Covid19.  Learning to read music and play melodies on our ukes is way better than cryptic crosswords or anything else I can think of that we do to ward off dementia.
